Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using a variety of imaging equipment to aid in disease and injury diagnosis. The role requires BLS, ARRT certification, and an active radiography license (IEMA) with an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

Responsibilities include administering IV and oral/rectal contrast, reviewing orders and history, ensuring image quality, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• ARRT Registered in Radiography within 1 year.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (IEMA).
• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field; certificate completion in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures and process patient exams.
• Review cases with radiologist and patient history to ensure accurate exams.
• Administer IV and oral/rectal contrast as appropriate; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure image quality, patient safety, and proper data transfer to PACS.
• Maintain equipment and supply inventories; assist in training staff as needed.
• Support cross-trained modalities and participate in department workflows.
