Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and support radiologists with image acquisition and interpretation. You will manage contrast administration, review patient history, and ensure imaging quality per protocol in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires ARRT radiography registration within 1 year, BLS certification within 30 days, and active licensure in Radiography per IEMA.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) Radiography registration within 1 year.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (IEMA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures by acquiring and processing patient exams according to department protocols.
• Reviews cases with the radiologist when appropriate.
• Reviews labs and patient history to perform the correct exam.
• Administers IV contrast and oral/rectal contrast when appropriate.
• Recognizes and responds to adverse or allergic reactions.
• Transfers and verifies image data in PACS and provides necessary medical history and information for Radiologist interpretation.
