Job summary

Carle Health is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures and support radiology operations across our imaging services.

The role requires ARRT certification, a radiologic technology certificate, and an associates degree, with BLS in 30 days and licensing in Radiography within a year. Relocation and sign-on bonuses are available to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• ARRT Radiography registration within 1 year.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA).

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures by acquiring and processing patient exams per department protocols.
• Reviews cases with the radiologist when appropriate.
• Reviews labs and patient history to perform correct exam.
• Administers IV and oral/rectal contrast when appropriate.
• Recognizes and responds to adverse or allergic reactions.
• Transfers and verifies image data in PACS for Radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains imaging equipment and workplace environment, including supplies.
• Ensures patient and staff safety and reports safety events.
