Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and support imaging services. The role requires certified BLS, ARRT registration within a year, and licensure as a Radiologic Technologist per IEMA guidelines.

You will work with radiologists, manage imaging data in PACS, and help ensure patient safety. The successful candidate will maintain equipment, follow department protocols, and contribute to cross-trained modality coverage while

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• ARRT Radiography registration within 1 year.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA).

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures and processes exams per protocols.
• Reviews cases with the radiologist when appropriate.
• Reviews labs and patient history to determine correct exam.
• Administers IV/oral/rectal contrast when appropriate.
• Recognizes and responds to adverse or allergic reactions.
• Transfers and verifies image data in PACS for Radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains imaging equipment and work area; reports service needs promptly.
• Ensures patient and staff safety and participates in cross-trained modalities.
