Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures with focus on image quality and patient safety. The role includes collaboration with radiologists, protocol adherence, and PACS image transfer to support timely interpretations.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree in a related field with a radiologic technology certificate and ARRT radiography registration, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• BLS through 30 days after hire.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Radiography per IEMA.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures following department protocols.
• Reviews cases with radiologist and checks patient history for accuracy.
• Transmits images to PACS and supports radiologist interpretation.
• Administers IV/contrast as required and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Maintains imaging equipment and safety standards.
