Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Supervisor RN for Medical-Surgical Services to oversee safe, high-quality patient care on nights and evenings. You’ll lead staffing, patient flow, and bed management in collaboration with the Staffing Office while modeling professional standards and servant leadership.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team, promote change, mentor co-workers, and ensure compliance with Mercy Service Standards. Mercy offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license with the Board of Nursing in the applicable State.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period. TNCC, ACLS and ENPC or PALS.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing to ensure units are appropriately staffed for patient care.
• Collaborate with Clinical Manager and Staffing Office on bed management and patient flow.
• Model professional standards, provide mentorship and guidance to direct patient care staff.
• Ensure compliance with Mercy policies, regulatory guidelines and Mercy Service Standards.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and administrative personnel to improve processes.
