Job summary

Stryker invites undergraduates to join as an Intern, Ortho Sales, gaining exposure to front-line medical technology and branch operations in Indianapolis. You will shadow sales, assist in account development, and participate in warehouse and kit preparation activities.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a related bachelor’s degree, with strong communication, organizational, and leadership potential, and proficiency in MS Office applications.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; enrolled after summer.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• U.S. permanent resident or citizen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated leadership and business acumen.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives and Operations Team Members to learn branch operations.
• Prepare a project segment to target accounts or marketing strategy.
• Learn selling processes and instrument use techniques with mentor support.
• Shadow and assist drivers with kit delivery to accounts.
• Assist warehouse team in assembling/breaking down instrument kits for surgery.
• Interact with multiple teams regarding products.
• Support Sales and Field Ops on special projects.
