Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3 South Orthopedics unit on a part-time third shift. The RN will supervise nursing staff on shift, participate in patient assessments, and coordinate care with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.

Required is an active RN license and degree in nursing; BSN is preferred, with BLS and possible ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC depending on the unit.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for patient care planning and implementation.
