Job summary

HonorHealth seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Night shift at the Deer Valley location in Phoenix, AZ. This role supports surgical care on the Medical/Surgical Unit-4P2 and requires caring for patients across the lifespan with a focus on safety and quality.

The RN applies ANA standards, administers meds and IVs, collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, and mentors staff while upholding ethical practice and cultural sensitivity. Night shift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year med-surg or acute care experience required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Arizona or compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• Night shift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect health data systematically and develop patient care plans.
• Identify expected outcomes and create individualized plans.
• Implement interventions and administer medications and IV therapies.
• Evaluate progress and document nursing care and outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge and adhere to practice standards.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for patient care.
• Promote ethical practice and cultural competency in care.
