Job summary

Carle Health's North Tower 4 is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a 41-bed unit caring for complex orthopedic and trauma patients. You will perform assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate with physicians to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants with >1 year of ICU/acute care experience and a 3-year commitment, along with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days as required by policy.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing with the IDFPR or equivalent.
• Clinical nursing experience in acute/orthopedic/trauma settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs admission assessments and develops care plans.
• Implements nursing interventions and documents care provided.
• Coordinates with physicians and the healthcare team for patient care.
• Educates patients and families on wound care, mobility, and self-care.
• Ensures safety and compliance with program requirements.
