Tenet Healthcare seeks an orthopedic technician to assist in patient care in the orthopedic department in Glendale, AZ. The role includes fitting pre-operative braces, crutches, and soft goods, and preparing patients for testing procedures.

Responsibilities include applying casts and orthopedic appliances, assisting with wound care and minor procedures, and maintaining a clean, safe environment while handling CPT/ICD coding documentation. A year of orthopedic experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform patient care in orthopedic settings.
• Familiarity with fitting braces, crutches, and other soft goods.
• Knowledge of preparing patients for testing procedures.
• Proficiency with documentation and charge tickets using CPT/ICD codes.

Responsabilités

• Assist in applying casts and orthopedic appliances.
• Support orthopedic procedures including wound care, aspirations, minor surgeries, and fracture reductions.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and sterilize instruments as required.
• Inventory and maintain departmental supplies and ensure compliance with safety standards.
