Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation is seeking an Orthopedic Technician to assist the orthopedic physician in providing casts and limb stability, wound care, and general nursing care within the scope of licensure. This role supports patient education and collaborative care in a hospital/clinic setting.

Ideal candidates will have completed an accredited orthopedic training program and hold or be eligible for BLS certification, with at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited orthopedic technical training program.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• At least one year full-time work experience in a hospital, clinic or office setting, treating orthopedic patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthopedic physician in providing casts and limb stability.
• Provide wound care and general nursing care as allowed by certification/licensure.
• Offer general patient education to support recovery and mobility.
