Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant role.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians in procedures with aseptic technique and prepares patient and equipment.
• Operates and maintains orthopedic equipment following safety policies.
• Applies and adjusts casts, splints, and braces for proper fit and comfort.
• Explains procedures to patients and provides reassurance throughout.
• Demonstrates brace and splint application for patient care.
• Teaches patients exercises to aid healing after surgeries.
• Maintains a clean, organized workspace and adequate supplies.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and in-service training.
