Job summary
Intermountain Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) / Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for the Ortho Plastics unit at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. You will support the patient care team with basic nursing tasks, unit coordination, and clerical duties as assigned by licensed staff.

Qualifications
- Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Utah candidates must meet CNA requirements and complete certification within 120 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize and deliver basic patient care and respond to patient and family requests.
- Report and record patient care data in a timely manner.
- Monitor patients and support telemetry as required.
- Transport medications to RN on the unit.
- Collaborate with RN and health care team to ensure optimal care.
- May perform Health Unit Coordinator duties like answering phones and transcribing orders.
