Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK seeks a night-shift, full-time Orthopedic Unit Patient Care Technician (PCT). You will assist patients with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and support nursing staff in ADLs and transport.

Required high school diploma or GED and BLS within 14 days of hire; two years in acute or long-term care is preferred, with CNA/PCT certification or nursing school enrollment encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• 2 years of experience in acute or long-term care preferred.
• CNA/PCT or paramedic certification or nursing school enrollment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Observes patients' progress and disseminates reports to Registered Nurse or other medical staff.
• Obtains and records patients' vital signs and collects specimens for lab tests.
• Provides basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Measures and records patients' intake and output and assists patients with range of motion.
