Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for a fast-paced 32-bed inpatient unit on the day shift. The role provides clinical support, may act as a Health Unit Coordinator, and emphasizes teamwork, safety, and exemplary patient care.

Ideal candidates hold an Utah CNA, BLS, and strong computer skills. The position offers full-time hours (06:00–18:30) with competitive hourly pay and opportunities for growth within Intermountain Health.

Competenze

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Deliver basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen changes, fluids, ambulation, and comfort measures.
• Record and report patient care findings and data promptly.
• Monitor changes in patient condition and seek help as needed.
• May perform telemetry duties and collaborate with the care team.
• Transport medications to RN as required on the unit.
• Assist with health unit coordination tasks as needed.
• Follow plan of care and scope of practice for duties.
• Adhere to safety policies and respond appropriately to emergencies.
