Shift: Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm, Friday 8am-5pm

The role you’ll contribute: The Physical Therapist Assistant conducts physical therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Implement an individualized treatment plan based on the findings and goals established by the Physical Therapist evaluation, utilizing Practice Standards and recommended techniques, insurance guidelines, and patient needs. Modify the treatment plan as appropriate based on ongoing assessments and consultation with the Physical Therapist.
• Collect patient data and communicate discharge recommendations to the Physical Therapist when maximum benefit has been achieved and/or according to standards of practice and payer guidelines.
• Participate in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities. Support quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
• Maintain clinical competencies, use evidence-based practices, and serve as a clinical instructor to support professional development.
• Participate in marketing efforts to physicians and practices to build referral relationships. Support community marketing and awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures, and other outreach activities as approved by the manager or director.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Basic Life Support Certification required
• Current Valid Physical Therapy Assistant or Temporary Physical Therapist Assistant License required
• Prior Ortho treating experience - PREFERRED
