You will relay messages to providers, log communications, and provide clerical support including typing, mail handling, faxes, and supplies management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Computer skills are required.
• Medical terminology skills preferred.
• Prior medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make patient appointments and reminder calls.
• Greet, register, and check in/out patients.
• Verify demographic and insurance information.
• Collect co-pays and other payments; prepare daily deposit and reconciliation report.
• Relay messages to/from providers and log them appropriately.
• Provide clerical/secretarial support (typing correspondence, sorting/delivering mail, processing faxes, ordering supplies).
