The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks an Outpatient Clinical Care Assistant - Orthopedics in Avon, OH. You will support patients and caregivers in a busy outpatient setting, performing screenings, specimen collection, and documentation, while helping prepare exam rooms and stock supplies.

The role involves assisting with exams and procedures, applying basic dressings, and ensuring smooth daily clinic operations under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Independent Provider.

Formación

• Minimum qualification: High School Diploma or GED.
• Understanding of human anatomy and basic patient care activities.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through recognized organization.
• One year of healthcare experience in hospital or ambulatory settings OR equivalent training.

Responsabilidades

• Perform health screenings and collect specimens in a fast-paced outpatient clinic.
• Update medical records and maintain exam rooms with supplies.
• Assist with exams, tests and procedures (EKG, Holter, vitals, etc.).
• Provide patient care under supervision of RN or LIP and document in EHR.
