Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center in downtown Los Angeles is seeking an Ortho Surgical Tech to join our scrub team, assisting surgeons and nurses and ensuring safe, efficient orthopedic procedures. You will prepare the OR, pass instruments, maintain sterile field, count items, and support patient positioning.

Strong attention to detail, aseptic technique, and teamwork are essential to protect patient safety and outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Orthopedic surgeon in surgery; order special instrumentation and prosthesis as needed.
• Prepare all orthopedic equipment and specialty cases using cameras or video equipment as required.
• Carry out aseptic technique for self and others per standards.
• Ensure instruments, equipment and supplies are ready, clean, and functional before surgery begins.
• Provide in-service training to staff and surgeons on new equipment and instrumentation.
