Qualifications

• One year OR experience.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program with an externship at Methodist Hospital Main.
• Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Set up operating room and prepare case instruments per physician preference cards.
• Maintain sterile field and follow aseptic technique to ensure patient safety.
• Assist during procedures, anticipate needs, and maintain safe, efficient case flow.
• Manage supplies and sharps containment, safety, and disposal during procedures.
