Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assigns rooms appropriate to skill level within the specialty service team.
• Plans and monitors day-to-day operations for the orthopedic service.
• Maintains and updates preference cards for cases.
• Provides direct patient care as needed.
• Monitors room turnover and readiness for cases.
• Ensures equipment and supplies are available for each case.
• Coordinates with physicians and staff on schedule changes.
• Supports staff and surgeon during service-line scheduling changes.
• Aids in cost control through efficient use of supplies and equipment.
