Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required; ASN/ADN nurses must obtain a BSN within four years.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (HCP) certification by hire or within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs and participate in clinical team conferences.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure adherence to guidelines.
• Communicate compassionately with patients and families.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines and document care.
