Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• ASN/ADN with BSN degree to be completed within four years from hire unless 15+ years RN experience in acute care.
• Current RN license in the state of practice required.
• Current BLS-HCP certification at hire or within 60 days; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and address patients’ psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients and families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients and team.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs and participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
