Mercy Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant Unit Clerk for the Orthopedic - Med Surg unit at Springfield Regional Medical Center. You will deliver direct patient care under RN supervision, perform unit-based duties, and support timely documentation and communication with the care team.

The role requires strong patient care skills, effective communication, and adherence to safety standards. Full-time schedule includes 7pm-7:30am shifts, every 3rd weekend, and summer/winter holiday coverage, with

Qualifications

• BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (preferred).
• Nursing Student with First Clinical Rotation complete OR state testing complete (required).
• Successful Completion of PCT Training Program within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care, including care and comfort, vital signs, personal care and hygiene, and mobility.
• Acts as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes or concerns.
• Provides high level customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Provides accurate, precise, timely documentation when applicable for patient care.
• Uses professional, verbal and written communication skills at all times.
