Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant Unit Clerk for Neurology and Med Surg at Springfield Regional Medical Center. You will provide direct patient care under RN guidance, document care accurately, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

Position requires patient-focused service, flexibility for evening shifts (7pm-7:30am), weekends every third, and holiday coverage. BLS is preferred; nursing student or PCT training welcomed.

Qualifications

• BLS (preferred) certification
• Nursing student with first clinical rotation completed (required)
• Successful completion of PCT training within 6 months of start date

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN guidance.
• Serve as liaison between patient and nurse.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to patients and families.
• Accurate, timely nursing documentation.
