The University of Kansas Medical Center seeks a full-time faculty member in the PTRSAT with primary teaching responsibilities in the hybrid DPT pathway. This non-tenure track position supports orthopedic physical therapy education and program expansion across KU Medical Center campuses.

The role emphasizes online and in-person instruction, clinical supervision in our pro bono clinic, and collaboration on curriculum development and accreditation standards for the new hybrid DPT program, starting

Competenze

• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice physical therapy in Kansas.
• Experience in orthopedic PT practice.
• Experience teaching didactic orthopedic courses in an entry-level DPT program.
• Experience with online/hybrid instruction in PT education.

Mansioni

• Teach orthopedic PT courses within the DPT curriculum.
• Support development of a hybrid DPT program following accreditation standards.
• Participate in department/school committees and governance; contribute to professional organizations as appropriate.
• Supervise students in our pro bono clinic (in person or via telehealth).
• Travel to the Kansas City campus for in-person teaching and meetings (4–6 times per year).
