Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Orthopedic Clinical Assistant to provide comprehensive clinical and administrative support to orthopedic physicians. This onsite role involves assisting with procedures, patient education, credentialing, and coordinating between clinics in North Bergen, Clifton, and Hackensack.

The position requires Orthopedics experience, a relevant nursing or athletic training degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Athletic Training or Associate's in Nursing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office or Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during clinical hours and support administrative tasks.
• Prepare for clinic days, manage patient flow, and coordinate with care teams.
• Maintain patient records in the EMR system and handle orders/referrals.
