Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to support patient care under physician supervision. The PA will handle routine visits, triage new patients, and manage post-operative visits on-site five days a week, with weekend on-call rotation and holiday/work as needed.

The role emphasizes history and physicals, ordering and interpreting tests, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced orthopedic

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved physician's assistant program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services under supervision of a licensed physician.
• Take histories and perform physical assessments relevant to age and condition.
• Order, perform, and interpret labs and diagnostic tests with physicians.
• Prescribe medications safely following policy and NJ regulations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and promote evidence-based practice.
