Key Responsibilities

Day‑to‑day Responsibilities Of This Position

• Supervises subordinate personnel including: hiring, determining workload and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions.
• Evaluates cases and determines need for on‑going agency involvement.
• Provides assistance and/or on‑the‑job training.
• Delivers presentations, stand up training, or instruction to staff, management, clients, or the general public.
• Designs and/or prepares training/instructional materials, teaching aids and devices.
• Develops and maintains area specific records, reviews reports, and resolves the more sensitive compliance issues.
• Analyzes, summarizes and/or reviews data, reports findings, interprets results and/or makes recommendations.

• Maintain confidentiality;
• Deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism;
• Make a decision or solve a problem by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions;

• Assess organizational needs such as staffing, training, security, etc.
• Supervise others by assigning/directing work; conducting employee evaluations, staff training and development, taking appropriate disciplinary/corrective actions, making hiring/termination recommendations, etc.
• Principles, theories, and practices of performance management
• Identify the best person for a task, delegate assignments, and direct people as they work
• Provide technical assistance to users
• Read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
