Job summary

Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university with related coursework in counseling techniques, interviewing, and conflict resolution.
• Three years of professional student services experience; a master’s degree may substitute for one year; a doctorate may substitute for three years for certain roles.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement orientation programs for new students prior to each semester.
• Coordinate First Year and Transfer Orientation activities and debrief sessions.
• Lead recruitment and training of Orientation Leaders; manage program logistics.
• Develop and edit content for Spartan Link and the New Student Family Programs platform.
• Collaborate with campus partners to schedule events, presenters, and venues.
• Assess programs through surveys and focus groups; report findings for continuous improvement.
