Middle Georgia State University Cochran Campus seeks an Orientation Coordinator to manage new student orientation programs, campus tours, and related admissions events. The role requires strong data management in CRM systems and collaboration with academic departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

The position emphasizes supervising student workers, coordinating online orientation platforms, and training staff to deliver engaging campus experiences for prospective students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of admissions processes and orientation events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and executes orientation programs for new students entering the University.
• Plans and executes campus tours and events, such as Open House, etc., for prospective students of the University.
• Works with academic departments and other university offices to coordinate the new student orientation program.
• Maintains accurate and current data in the customer relationship management system (CRM) for Orientation, campus tours, and other events.
• Assists in preparing, compiling, and analyzing evaluations and surveys for new student orientation programs.
• Assists in preparing and revising media presentations, publications, training manuals, and reports used by the Admissions Office for new student orientation and campus tours.
• Assists in recruiting, selecting, and training student workers who work with campus tours and the new student orientation program.
• Assumes primary responsibility for supervising student workers who work with campus tours, the orientation program, and general office tasks.
• Assumes primary responsibility for maintaining and management of the online orientation platform.
• Interviews, hires, and trains student workers who work with campus tours and the new student orientation program.
• Assumes primary responsibility for supervising student workers who work with campus tours, the orientation program, and general office tasks.
• Interviews, hires, and trains Orientation Specialists.
