Role emphasizes developing methods, documenting results, and contributing to scientific literature while collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining high standards of experimental rigor.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field; foreign degrees evaluated for U.S. equivalency.
• Expertise in tissue engineering or biomedical engineering principles.
• Experience with basic and advanced laboratory techniques, including microscopy.
• Experience documenting data and maintaining lab records.
• Experience operating standard biomedical lab equipment and QC procedures.
• Experience analyzing and reporting experimental results.
• Some publication experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and scientific computing tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute pre-clinical research and development strategies.
• Develop methods and evaluation criteria under supervision.
• Contribute scientific and technical expertise to novel technologies.
• Troubleshoot experiments and critical assignments.
• Interfacing with departments as an internal consultant.
• Meet pre-set targets impacting the discipline.
