The role focuses on developing and validating organoid-based assays and automated workflows to support standardized organoid modeling initiatives. The position requires a foundation in biomedical engineering, lab techniques, and proficiency with imaging/analysis tools, with opportunities to contribute to novel NAMs in biomedical research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience.
• At least two years of laboratory research experience.
• Working knowledge of biomedical engineering and biomedical image processing.
• Experience developing and implementing automated workflows and rapid prototyping.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate the suitability and quality control of research assays.
• Independently develop new assays or automated workflows and validate the reliability of the methodology.
• Prepare and execute research plans, proposals, or new production methodologies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by a responsible authority.
• Remain knowledgeable in pertinent areas through literature and scientific presentations.
