The role involves partnering with leaders to accelerate transformation, design workforce planning, and develop leadership capabilities, while delivering data-driven insights and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, OD, business, psychology, or related field.
• 5+ years in Organizational Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, HR, or consulting.
• Proven experience leading change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with succession planning, workforce planning, and talent assessments.

LHH is partnering with a client to identify an experienced Organizational Development Consultant to lead strategic people and organizational initiatives during a critical period of growth and transformation. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned HR, Talent Management, or Organizational Development professional who thrives in a consultative environment and can quickly make an impact.

Compensation: $75 - $150/hour, depending on experience

Location: Hybrid / Onsite

Duration: Project-based consulting engagement with immediate start

About the Opportunity

This consultant will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and HR teams, driving initiatives related to organizational effectiveness, leadership development, talent management, employee engagement, and change management. The ideal candidate brings both strategic vision and hands‑on execution experience.

Key Areas of Focus

Organizational Effectiveness

• Evaluate organizational structures, processes, and workforce capabilities
• Lead organizational design and restructuring initiatives
• Develop workforce planning strategies aligned with business objectives
• Partner with leaders to improve team effectiveness and operational performance

Leadership Development

• Design and facilitate leadership development programs
• Coach and advise emerging, mid‑level, and senior leaders
• Support succession planning and high‑potential talent initiatives
• Create career pathing and employee development frameworks

Talent Management

• Enhance performance management programs and processes
• Develop competency models and talent assessment tools
• Analyze workforce and talent data to drive informed decisions
• Support learning and development strategies

Change Management

• Lead change initiatives related to organizational transformation and business growth
• Develop communication and stakeholder engagement plans
• Assess change readiness and mitigate implementation risks
• Coach leaders through periods of organizational change

Employee Engagement & Culture

• Drive employee engagement strategies and action plans
• Analyze feedback and survey data to identify trends and opportunities
• Partner with leadership to strengthen workplace culture
• Support initiatives that reinforce organizational values and performance

HR Analytics & Executive Reporting

• Monitor key organizational effectiveness metrics
• Prepare presentations and recommendations for senior leadership
• Utilize data insights to influence strategic decision‑making

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, or related field
• Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of Organizational Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, HR, or consulting experience
• Proven experience leading change management and organizational transformation initiatives
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with succession planning, workforce planning, and talent assessments
• Exceptional communication, project management, and executive presence

Preferred Experience

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or Organizational Development certification
• Experience supporting complex, multi‑site, matrixed, or high‑growth organizations
• Familiarity with HRIS, talent management platforms, and learning systems
• Competitive consulting rate of $75 - $150 per hour, based on experience
• Opportunity to work directly with executive leadership on high‑impact initiatives
• Consultants working 30+ hours per week through LHH may be eligible for:
