ZipStaff seeks an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead for an 18-month Kronos to UKG Pro Workforce Management upgrade project. You will develop and execute strategies, manage readiness activities, and design stakeholder engagement and training programs.

This remote role requires working West Coast hours. Ideal candidates have 7+ years of OCM leadership for large-scale tech implementations and hands-on Kronos-to-UKG upgrade experience.

Job Title: UKG Organizational Change Manager (OCM Lead)

Location: Remote (must work West Coast timezone)

Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)

About the Opportunity

ZipStaff is seeking an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead to support an 18-month upgrade project from Kronos Workforce Central to UKG Pro Workforce Management for a major workforce management technology organization.

The OCM Lead will develop and execute a holistic approach to managing organizational change related to the implementation of the new platform. This includes assessing organizational readiness, building the OCM strategy and plan, designing and overseeing the stakeholder engagement approach, creating the communication plan and deliverables, developing a role-based training curriculum and program, and overseeing the transition readiness plan to ensure effective adoption and proficiency. Candidates must have prior experience with Kronos to UKG upgrades.

What You'll Do

• Apply a structured methodology (e.g., Prosci) to organizational change management and lead change management activities.
• Lead and oversee communication strategy, training, and transition readiness workstreams to ensure alignment with project goals and timeline.
• Identify and assess change impact and develop strategies to promote readiness and change adoption.
• Evaluate organizational readiness via roadshows/town halls, assessments/surveys, and department meetings to identify risk and manage resistance.
• Identify and engage project stakeholder groups and support their change management and training needs.
• Measure and track implementation readiness and elevate risk areas to the Enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO) and governance committees.
• Support process improvement efforts within the OCM team and across the project team.
• Serve as a strategic thought-partner to the project leadership team.
• Champion the project across stakeholder groups to prepare the organization for the transition to UKG Pro Workforce Management.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience leading Organizational Change Management for large-scale technology or platform implementations.
• Must have hands-on experience supporting Kronos Workforce Central to UKG Pro Workforce Management upgrades.
• Proven experience applying a structured OCM methodology (Prosci strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to build and execute OCM strategies, communication plans, role-based training curricula, and transition readiness plans.
• Experience assessing organizational readiness, managing resistance, and driving adoption across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic thought-partnership skills.
• Ability to work fully remote while supporting West Coast timezone hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience on multi-year HCM or workforce management platform upgrades.
• Background supporting large-scale change programs with ePMO and governance oversight.
• Hands-on development of training programs and communication deliverables for workforce technology transitions.
• Experience in healthcare, education, or other complex multi-site environments.
