Job summary

Liberty ARC in New York seeks an Organization Development Manager to lead a Staff Training and Development Team, partnering with Sr. Leadership and Operations to design and deliver high-quality trainings across locations, in-person and virtual, while ensuring OPWDD compliance.

This working manager role emphasizes strategic thinking and hands-on execution, includes mentoring and coaching, and requires travel and a NYS driver’s license; the role reports to the Director of Human Resources and hours

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three years progressive administrative and supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of OPWDD regulations preferred.
• Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to travel for agency business.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, coaches and develops Staff Training and Development Team.
• Ensure accurate scheduling, attendance to, and documentation of training in compliance with mandates.
• Provides agency support for resolution of ADM's (Administrative Memos) from OPWDD to meet training requirements.
• Assists in developing, updating and delivering training programs and opportunities.
• Work closely with Operations Management to develop, update and deliver trainings for hard and soft skills.
• Assist Sr. Leadership Team in development of measurable department goals that support the Overall Strategic Plan.
• Coordinate and provide feedback and results from the agency's bi-annual succession planning processes.
• Acts as a resource, coach and mentor to Leaders in writing and implementation of IDPs and PIPs.
• Facilitates leadership work teams for planning and implementation of LDI's delivering to all Leaders.
• System Administrator of HRIS for Sage Training Module.
