Job summary

Haggo’s Organic Taco in San Clemente is seeking a Line Cook to lead back-of-house operations on the line, ensuring recipe accuracy, organic standards, and fast, high-quality plates. You will work across grill, prep, fryer, assembly, and expo with FOH coordination and strict sanitation.

The role emphasizes speed, safety, FIFO rotation, and teamwork, with a competitive hourly pay including tip pool and clear adherence to health codes and break policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of line cook or food preparation experience in high-volume, fast-casual or full-service kitchens.
• California Food Handler Card or San Diego County Food Handler Card prior to starting.
• Ability to understand, read, and execute recipes in English or Spanish; clear verbal communication.
• Strong knife skills, kitchen safety, temperature controls, and ability to work calmly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items in strict accordance with Haggo’s organic standards and SOPs.
• Set up, stock, and organize line stations; maintain par levels and prep lists.
• Maintain fast ticket times while preserving presentation, taste, and recipe consistency.
