Job summary

Mid-America Transplant is seeking a Hospital Services Specialist to drive organ and tissue donation partnerships with assigned hospitals. You will serve as the clinical first responder, assess donor eligibility, and collaborate with hospital staff to maximize donation opportunities.

The role emphasizes relationship management, recipient advocacy, and education to improve processes and outcomes across the service area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Registered Nurse experience is preferred.
• Experience in account management or hospital social work is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining effective relationships with hospital staff and leaders to support donation.
• Respond on site to organ referrals and donors, overcoming barriers to donation.
• Educate and train hospital personnel on donation processes and protocols.
• Develop and maintain donation processes at assigned hospitals and analyze data to improve outcomes.
