Job summary

Strategic HR Client Job Openings is seeking a Hospital Donation Specialist I to partner with hospital teams, educate clinical staff, and support organ, eye, and tissue donation cases from referral through follow-up.

You will work onsite in a hospital setting, coordinating donor management, reviewing data, and helping strengthen donation policies and regulatory compliance while upholding safety and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• RN credential or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent certifications and experience considered.
• Five years of healthcare experience preferred; donation coordination experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary donation resource and relationship partner for assigned hospitals.
• Educate hospital staff through rounds, in-services, committees, and case follow-up.
• Support referrals and donor cases, including testing, donor management, documentation, and organ recovery activities.
• Review referral and performance data, identify improvement opportunities, and develop action plans.
• Help hospitals maintain effective donation policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Navigate electronic medical records accurately while protecting confidential patient information.
