Job summary

OneLegacy in Southern California is seeking a Surgical Recovery Coordinator Assistant (SRCA) to support SRC I/II in organ recovery, operating room, pathology, and preservation activities. This entry-level clinical role offers hands-on training under experienced staff in a mission-driven setting.

Based in Azusa or Redlands, CA, you will participate in OR readiness, equipment prep, documentation, and on-call support while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or higher.
• Experience: One year of relevant work experience or completion of a surgical technology program.
• Licensure: Valid California driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Equipment: Reliable automotive transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist SRC I and SRC II with organ recovery operations and logistics.
• Support operating room setup, readiness, and breakdown activities.
• Prepare and maintain recovery instruments, supplies, preservation solutions, and equipment.
• Assists with the cold preservation flush of both abdominal and thoracic organs
• Assist with organ packaging, labeling, and transportation preparation.
• Support pathology operations, specimen handling, and documentation activities.
• Assist with equipment cleaning, maintenance, inventory management, and operational readiness.
• Support mechanical perfusion and organ preservation activities under supervision.
• Assist with OrganOx, kidney perfusion, EVLP, and research recovery preparations as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with case-related documentation.
• Participate in on-call and operational support activities as required.
• Demonstrate adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards
