Life Connection of Ohio is seeking an Organ Recovery Coordinator I to evaluate donor referrals and coordinate donation activities. This role involves managing donor care, coordinating recovery and preservation in the OR, and ensuring documentation compliance under regulatory guidelines.

The position requires clinical education, strong teamwork, and the ability to work independently in hospital and home office settings. Reports to Recovery Services Manager; travel and on-call duties may apply.

Competenze

• Associate degree in nursing or related science required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.
• Experience in organ recovery or hospital ER/ICU is preferred.

Mansioni

• Respond to organ donor referrals and follow up on referred patients during shift.
• Evaluate donor referrals to determine organ and tissue donor suitability per guidelines.
• Manage donor care under protocols and coordinate organ recovery and preservation in OR.
• Identify family dynamics and needs, coordinate with hospital staff and services.
• Document donor records, labs, diagnostics, and related procedures.
