Job summary

Infinite Legacy is seeking a skilled transplant coordinator to manage organ and tissue donation coordination under the Regional Clinical Manager, Organ Recovery. You will assess donor suitability, coordinate with hospital teams, and ensure compliance with federal/state guidelines.

This role requires on-call duties, travel within the Donor Services Area, and collaboration with family services. You may participate in research and training to advance donation programs.

Qualifications

• RN or healthcare degree required or preferred.
• 2+ years of emergency or critical care experience.
• Willingness to travel within Infinite Legacy’s Donor Services Area.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medical suitability of potential organ and/or tissue donors using medical records, history, physical exams and current health status.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and medical director to direct clinical management of potential donors.
• Obtain and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests as needed for donor evaluation and management.
• Collaborate with Family Services Coordinators to approach donor families sensitively.
• Assist with informed consent in accordance with state laws and organizational policies.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, AOPO/AATB standards, UNOS, FDA guidelines and internal policies.
