Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Clinical Donation Associate to respond to organ donation referrals within our service area. You will screen, round on referrals with ICU teams, and support the Organ Procurement Coordinator.

You should have 3+ trauma/critical care related experience, strong communication, and attention to detail. Full-time, day shifts with a bi-monthly meeting. Florida background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of critical care patients is required.
• Ability to multi-task under stressful conditions is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Meticulous attention to detail is required.
• Dependable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to donor referrals and performs initial suitability screening.
• Rounds on referrals and coordinates with ICU physicians and nurses.
• Assists Organ Procurement Coordinator with referral activities.
• Coordinates donation huddles and communicates action plans.
• Evaluates patients for organ and tissue donation suitability.
