Job summary

Qualifications

• RN or PA with two years in critical care or emergency care preferred.
• Respiratory therapist with five years in critical or emergency care or organ procurement experience.
• Master's degree in human donation sciences preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate donation process from critical care or ED, including medical management, organ evaluation, and allocation.
• Assist surgeons in operating room during organ recovery.
• Respond to LifeQuest referrals from area hospitals.
• Provide education about organ, tissue, and eye donation to families and staff.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines for equitable organ allocation.
• Manage on-call duties 20 days per month for 24-7 referral response.
