Job summary

MTF Biologics is seeking an Organ Placement Coordinator 1 for per diem shifts. You will assess and assign organ and tissue offers, coordinate with Organ Placement Coordinators, and ensure exchanges align with organ donation timelines.

The role requires strong organizational skills, UNOS knowledge, and excellent communication with multiple stakeholders. Responsibilities include leading shift turnovers, maintaining accurate donor records, and supporting case progression through various phases of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or health-related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years Organ Allocation experience at an OPO or equivalent training.
• Experience with UNOS/OPTN processes and organ donation timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess, prioritize and assign organ and tissue offers to Organ Placement Coordinators.
• Monitor caseloads and balance workloads across shifts.
• Lead turnover meetings between shifts for smooth transitions.
• Coordinate with OPOs and research entities to allocate organs and tissue.
• Ensure accurate documentation in EDR and donor records.
