Job summary

LiveOnNY Inc. is seeking an Allocation Placement Coordinator to maximize the utilization of organs from local donors and facilitate organ allocation processes within a mission-driven environment. This remote role requires knowledge of OPTN policies and excellent communication skills.

With a salary range of $65,000-$70,000, the position also offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a health-related field is required.
• And/or Associate’s degree with one to three years related work experience.
• Excellent communication, computer and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maximize utilization of abdominal and research organs.
• Serve as the principal source of donor information.
• Assist the Donor Center with calls and enter referrals.
• Communicate donor information to transplant programs.
• Arrange transportation for recovery teams.
• Facilitate import kidney and pancreas allocation.
• Coordinate transportation of blood and biopsy materials.
