Job summary

Southwest Transplant Alliance is seeking a Placement and Allocation Coordinator to manage organ allocation activities in line with OPTN regulations and STA standards. The role supports placement for transplantation and research with precise documentation and timely communication.

The PAC coordinates donor information, allocation logistics, and data management across transplant centers and clinical teams, emphasizing accuracy and regulatory adherence in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a medical field or medical certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an acute care healthcare setting required.
• OPO experience preferred.
• Current Driver’s License with acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate organ allocation activities in accordance with OPTN and STA policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication with transplant centers and clinical teams.
• Coordinate donor information reporting, allocation logistics, and data management activities.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
• Support quality improvement initiatives through accurate reporting and documentation.
