This role supports our surgical team by ensuring cleanliness and organization of the operating room before and after surgical procedures. Work closely with Surgical staff to clean and set up the operating room with necessary equipment, and supplies. Assist surgical staff with position and transferring patients onto and off the operating table. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of surgical supplies and equipment and restock as needed. Follow established infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment. Handle and dispose of trash, biohazardous waste and linens according to facility policy. Provide outstanding customer service to patients, staff, and visitors. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to appropriate personnel. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPPA guideline. Adhere to all policies and procedures.
