Job summary

Preferred Capital Management, Inc. is seeking an Accounting & Order Management Specialist to oversee the entire order-to-cash process, ensuring accurate order intake, processing, and fulfillment from initiation to delivery.

You will coordinate among customers, sales, logistics, and finance to maintain efficiency and strong customer service. The role emphasizes month-end documentation, audit-ready records, and meticulous data entry while maintaining confidentiality in all accounting activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Familiarity with general accounting principles, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Enter vendor invoices accurately and ensure supporting documentation is complete.
• Prepare and send customer invoices as directed by Accounting Specialists.
• Maintain vendor and customer information.
• Track incoming invoices and statements, following up on missing or incomplete information.
• Monitor the shared accounting inbox and route emails, invoices, and requests to the correct team members.
• Maintain month-end documentation and audit-ready files for each entity.
• Keep accounting folders current and properly labeled and accessible for audits.
• Perform data entry, scanning, and general record maintenance.
• Assist Accounting Specialists with document preparation and report distribution.
• Communicate professionally with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding basic accounting inquiries.
• Uphold confidentiality and accuracy in all accounting and financial activities.
